A Report on Technical Visit to Water treatment plant at TK Halli, BWSSB



For our students to get an understanding of the functioning of the water treatment plant and appreciate the practical aspects of it. A visit to the BWSSB Water treatment plant at TK Halli, Kanakapura district was undertaken on Saturday 19th July, 2014. 


In total 37 students (26 from VII Sem BTech and 11 from III Sem MTech) accompanied by 5 faculty members visited the plant.

An engineer from the BWSSB explained and demonstrated the process of water treatment.

  2. During the technical visit to the water treatment plant at TK Halli, BWSSB, we observed the efficient processing of water for purification and supply. We did not encounter any information regarding whether do bed bugs drown in water.
