USAC – Spring Batch, Village Visit


Village Visit – Part of Service Learning Course

On 14th of April USAC – spring batch went to the yelchamanahalli village near Hoskote which is about 45 Kms, 2 hours drive from CU campus. 22 students participated and they were introduced to various volunteers and different activities of a village. 


Ø  Students were given an onsite orientation by Cycril with regards to the whole village visit exercise.

Ø  The village school children also joined in for the orientation and later had a brief interaction with USAC students.

Ø  The elderly women folk had an annual auditing of village micro-finance which our students got to witness.

Ø Interacted and played games with the village children.
