Electronics Project Exhibition Report 2025 organised by Department of Physics and Electronics

The department of Physics and Electronics organized its annual Electronics Project exhibition on 5 March 2025, at Bangalore Central Campus. The project exhibition was organized by the final year B.Sc. PME and CME students under the guidance of the faculty members of the department.

This exhibition was conducted as an experiential learning method for the students to help them with their skill development through hands on activity. This is to bring out some creative, innovative ideas in the field of electronics design, IoT systems from the students that can make them ready for employment as well as create future entrepreneurs.

This exhibition was also a part of SDG week celebrations of the University. The exhibition activity was aligned with sustainable development goals, SDG4: Quality Education and SDG9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.

The exhibition was comprised of 26 working Electronics projects and 72 participants from 6CME and PME classes. The projects done covered various domains of our day today life and also a few on energy harvesting, conservation, IoT, bio medical and instrumentation fields.

Prof. Jain Mathew, Dean, School of Business and Management, Prof. George Thomas, former Dean, School of Sciences, Faculty members from other departments visited the stalls, interacted with the students and appreciated the exhibition activity. The students from other classes, all the faculty members of the department also visited and interacted with the students. The students demonstrated the project work, explained the working of the circuit with chart and model and also highlighted the practical applications and future scope of their project work. The exhibition was coordinated by Dr. Mukund N Naragund and Dr. Benny Sebastian.
