“Evidence-Based Cognitive Hypnotherapy for Depression”
on 15, 16, 17 February 2013

The Department of Psychology, Christ University, conducted a three day workshop on 15, 16, 17 February, titled, “Evidence-Based Cognitive Hypnotherapy for Depression”. The resource person for the workshop was none other than Dr. Assen Alladin, an international authority on the subject. Based on 30 years of experience working with depression, he has authored 3 books, over 30 publications, and two dozen papers on cognitive hypnotherapy. The workshop was attended by professionals like psychiatrists, counsellors and therapists, as well as by students from both Christ University and from other colleges. Following is a report of the three days of the workshop.
