The program started with an invocation dance
followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, while the Christ University,
Faculty of Engineering choir led the gathering in prayer.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Iven Jose,
Associate Dean.
The presidential address was rendered by Prof. Dr.
Arun P. Kulshreshtha, Director, Centre for Science & Technology of the
Non-Aligned and Other Developing Countries (NAM S&T Centre). Rev. Fr. Arun,
CMI, Director, Dept. of Management Studies, Christ University delivered a
special note. Mr. N. Suresh , General Manager, Renewable Energy Development
Ltd. presided as the chief guest.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. R.
Harikumar, General Secretary, SEEM, India.
