A REPORT ON BUDGET’14 EVENT SUMMARY
ARTHAPRABANDHA – FINANCE CLUB in association with KPMG hosted its inaugural event for the academic year 2014-15 on 15thJuly 2014. The Event was a panel discussion on BUDGET ’14.
Objective: To enlighten the students about the highlights of Budget’14 and critically analyze its impact and feasibility in a macro economic level. For this purpose MR. Ajay Rotti, Partner, Tax (BSR & co. LLP) was invited as the chief guest for the event.

Panelist- The panelist for the afternoon and their respective topics were as follows:
Soumyadip Tiwary and Sudhir – Social welfare ,women and children empowerment
Nonica and Abhishek Moosad – Infrastructure
Shashank and Himanshu – Banking and financial services
Ajay Pai and Yash Baid – Fiscal Policy
The Panelist did absolute justice to their respective topics. They touched base on all the highlights of the budget’2014. MR. Ajay Rotti our chief guest acknowledged all the panelists for their excellent job and also appreciated the efforts of Arthaprabandha. He further put a cross his views on the budget 2014. He further more explained the on Retrospective effect of Tax & GST. The event was indeed a fruitful and an enlightening one.
