A REPORT - WORKSHOP ON “NURTURING ENTREPRENUERS"

Department of Management Studies encourages and promotes the talent in students in all events, for their integral development. In all, it enables an individual to think and function beyond the boundaries of regular curriculum. 
 
With the purpose of developing well- groomed professionals and holistically developed individuals to meet the expectations of this fast paced world of constant innovation, the Department of Management Studies provides avenues with ever expanding boundaries to excel.

Towards this endeavour, Department of Management Studies conducted a workshop on “Nurturing Entrepreneurs” in association with Kanara Entrepreneur Global on Tuesday, the 15th July, 2014 at Christ University. 

The event started with a welcome address by Coordinator-BBA, Dr Jyothi Kumar.  The students were appreciated and encouraged by chief guest for the day - the President of Kanara Entrepreneurs Global-Mr. Mark D’souza, Vice Chancellor-Christ University-Rev Dr. Fr. Thomas C Mathew, Registrar – Christ University – Dr. Anil Joseph Pinto, Dean – Department of Management studies – Prof Suresh Pai, Head of Department – Management Studies – Prof Jain Mathew.

This programme helped the students of BBA to network with successful entrepreneurs and learn what it takes to get an idea off the ground and turn it into a reality.

The programme had 142 students, who participated enthuastically throughout the day and came out with various valuable ideas on case studies provided to them. 

The event ended after distribution of prizes to winners and mementos to Kanara Group Mentors, who guided the students throughout the day.
