"NRITTA - A Journey of Movement" 


NRITTA 2012  - Celebration of Culture through Dance.

Christ University started The University Dance Day "NRITTA" in the Year 2011 in order to promote Indian Culture in varied aspects and showcase dance as being an effective medium for communicating diverse cultures. This is an opportunity for the students to showcase their dancing skills in an appropriate manner and is also a unique celebration and amalgamation of students that is brought with a tinge of professionalism interwoven.

This year Christ University Performing Arts presented NRITTA 2012 "Alice in Wonderland", a performance by 152 Students in Main Auditorium of Christ University on Saturday, 25th February 2012.

We had above 2500 audience on the spectacular dance day including students and their parents.

Rev. Dr. Fr. Thomas C. Mathew congratulated all the performers and wished them all the very best for the coming years.

The dance team thanked the Gurus of the Dance Day, namely Mr. Prabin, Ms. Preeti and Mr. Bhaskar for all their effort in bringing out the talent in each student and making the Dance Day a memorable day of the University.
