Christ University Signs MOU with SAP India Ltd for Academic Partnership

In our constant endeavour to facilitate students in their career path by making them industry ready Christ University signed an MOU with SAP, India Ltd for academic partnership. The academic partnership extends to three distinct programmes of Christ University Viz.
 
1.     BCom Professional with Diploma in Business Management (DBM)
2.     MFM
3.     MBA Executive

With this MOU the students pursuing the above mentioned programmes will be equipped to explore the opportunity as “Sap Consultant”.  As consultants they will provide expert advice for all the large companies across different verticals that intend to implement SAP ERP software. SAP courses will be conducted in the campus with the state-of-art Learning Management System. The duration of this course is 200 hours.

Christ University was represented by the Vice Chancellor, Dr Fr Thomas C Mathew, Registrar, Dr Anil Joseph Pinto, Chief Finance Officer, Dr Fr Varghese K J,  Director, Evening Programmes, Dr Fr Jose C C, and Dean of Commerce and Management, Dr Satinder Singh Duggal.

SAP team was led by Head Education, SAP India Subcontinent, Ms Mageshwari Ramaiah, Head SAP UAcademy India Subcontinent, Mr Philip S, and CEO , Clockwork Solutions, Mr Badrinath.

There is a compelling reason for the student to gain an additional certification along with their degree to succeed in this competitive job environment. 

Global Level Certification
Students who successfully complete the course and who aspire to be “Sap Certified Consultants” can sit for Global Level Certification Exam. On clearing the exam, the student will be awarded a certificate by SAP. Department of History and   Kannada,Christ University in collaboration with Karnataka Numismatics Society , Bangalore organized a one day   exhibition, workshop and lecture on numismatics” on 12 July,2014 in Gourmet extension and Assembly Hall ,Block -2 from 9 am to 3pm. The programme was divided into two slots, exhibition and lecture session. The programme began with an   inauguration of the exhibition in gourmet basement at 9.30 by Mahesh Jambulingam , President , Karnataka Numismatic Society and Dr.John Joseph Kennedy, Dean, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University. Report on Annual Sports Day 2013 - SCHOOL OF EDUCATION

Report on Annual Sports Day 2013 School of Education organized a one day Sports day for its students of B.Ed and MA Education on the 16 th of February 2013. Its objective was to develop in the students a sporting spirit, a venue to display their physical prowess and gain hands on experience of organizing a sports day at a school in future.   The day was scheduled to begin at 7:30am at the Christ University campus, where the students assembled near the auditorium block. Two buses were utilized to transport the students to the Christ University Kengeri campus which was the venue of the Sports Day. All required arrangements were made there. On reaching the campus at 9:00 am, there was short break for tea. Ample seating arrangement and a tent was erected on the vast sporting grounds of the campus. REPORT ON DISPLAY OF TEACHING AIDS - SCHOOL OF EDUCATION

The event that has given the opportunity to the teacher trainees to display and demonstrate their teaching aids and teaching models was conducted on 10 th January,   2014.   The event was inaugurated by Prof. Mallika Krishnaswami, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University. The Dean addressed the student teachers with an inspiring talk.
