“Excitino 2023”, an Electronics mini project exhibition was held on Friday, 6 October in the Pathway, Bangalore Central Campus. The exhibition was organised by the final year BSc. PME and CME students.

This is an annual activity as a part of the project-based learning process for the students. The objective of the event is to provide experiential learning opportunity for the students to feel confident about implementing the ideas that could solve some of the societal problems, into a prototype Electronics system and exhibit to the visitors across the university using the microcontroller development boards.

There were 90 individual projects based on Arduino board and various sensors exhibited by the students.

These working projects successfully created an overall awareness about the electronic devices, circuits, Arduino platform, sensors among the visitors. This exhibition also created interest to know more about electronic systems in the students. The students from various streams of the University and faculty members from various departments visited and enjoyed being a part of this exhibition. Dr. Benny Sebastian, Prof. Johnson O V, Dr. Vineeth Valsan, Dr. Rohan Fernandes, Dr. Ruplai Patel, Dr. Krishnakumar, Dr. Partha K and Mr. Karthikeyan (alumnus of the department) evaluated the projects and encouraged the students.

Dr. George Thomas, Dean, School of Science, Dr. Manoj B, Head of the department and all the faculty members of the department were present during the exhibition.

Dr. Mukund N Naragund coordinated the whole process for Excitino 2023.  The department sincerely thanks the management for providing all necessary support and permission to organise the exhibition.

Report on Annual Sports Day 2013 School of Education organized a one day Sports day for its students of B.Ed and MA Education on the 16 th of February 2013. Its objective was to develop in the students a sporting spirit, a venue to display their physical prowess and gain hands on experience of organizing a sports day at a school in future.   The day was scheduled to begin at 7:30am at the Christ University campus, where the students assembled near the auditorium block. Two buses were utilized to transport the students to the Christ University Kengeri campus which was the venue of the Sports Day. All required arrangements were made there. REPORT ON DISPLAY OF TEACHING AIDS - SCHOOL OF EDUCATION

The event that has given the opportunity to the teacher trainees to display and demonstrate their teaching aids and teaching models was conducted on 10 th January,   2014.   The event was inaugurated by Prof. Mallika Krishnaswami, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University. The Dean addressed the student teachers with an inspiring talk. A Report on One Day Exhibition, Workshop and Lecture on Numismatics

Department of History and   Kannada,Christ University in collaboration with Karnataka Numismatics Society , Bangalore organized a one day   exhibition, workshop and lecture on numismatics” on 12 July,2014 in Gourmet extension and Assembly Hall ,Block -2 from 9 am to 3pm. The programme was divided into two slots, exhibition and lecture session. The programme began with an   inauguration of the exhibition in gourmet basement at 9.30 by Mahesh Jambulingam , President , Karnataka Numismatic Society and Dr.John Joseph Kennedy, Dean, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University.
