The department of Life Sciences had organized a TALK
ON Proteomics as part of the Corporate Interface Connect on 19 July 2018. The Dean
of Sciences Dr Surendra Kulkarni gave the Welcome Address. The Chief resource
person was Mr Hitesh Goswami who is the Co-Founder
& Director of Bionivid. The talk was held in the Sky view
in Central Block, Main Campus, CHRIST ( Deemed to be University). The title of talk was 'Advancement in Genomics Technology and
Career Opportunities.Mr Hitesh started off with the historyof
genomics and its tremendous progression over the years with some case studies
of genetic diseases and the potential of genomics to treat those. The event was a good opportunity for the studentsto clarify
their doubts on genomic platforms.
