Report On The Inauguration Of Life Science And Chemistry Research Labs On July 12, 2018

Two state of the art, new research laboratories - Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab (PCL) of Chemistry Department and Applied and Industrial Biotechnology Lab of Life Science Department were inaugurated in Block 2, 3rd Floor by Novozyme India and Asia Pacific R&D Director - Dr. Ashish Paradkar. The occasion was graced by the presence of Fr.Dr.Thomas Mathew, Vice Chancellor of Christ (Deemed to be University),  Dr. Abraham V.M., Pro Vice Chancellor, CFO and HOD of  Life Sciences Department. - Fr. Jobi Xavier, Dean of Sciences and HOD of Chemistry Department,Dr. Surendra Kulkarni, Registrar Dr. Anil Pinto as well as the faculty, staff and students from various departments. Both the labs were blessed by Fr. Thomas C Mathew and Fr. Jobi for its success. On this occasion,Dr. Ashish praised the support and commitments of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) management towards R&D infrastructure development and pushing the R&D efforts in University.

Report on Annual Sports Day 2013 School of Education organized a one day Sports day for its students of B.Ed and MA Education on the 16 th of February 2013. Its objective was to develop in the students a sporting spirit, a venue to display their physical prowess and gain hands on experience of organizing a sports day at a school in future.   The day was scheduled to begin at 7:30am at the Christ University campus, where the students assembled near the auditorium block. Two buses were utilized to transport the students to the Christ University Kengeri campus which was the venue of the Sports Day. All required arrangements were made there. On reaching the campus at 9:00 am, there was short break for tea. Ample seating arrangement and a tent was erected on the vast sporting grounds of the campus. REPORT ON DISPLAY OF TEACHING AIDS - SCHOOL OF EDUCATION

The event that has given the opportunity to the teacher trainees to display and demonstrate their teaching aids and teaching models was conducted on 10 th January,   2014.   The event was inaugurated by Prof. Mallika Krishnaswami, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University. The Dean addressed the student teachers with an inspiring talk. A Report on One Day Exhibition, Workshop and Lecture on Numismatics

Department of History and   Kannada,Christ University in collaboration with Karnataka Numismatics Society , Bangalore organized a one day   exhibition, workshop and lecture on numismatics” on 12 July,2014 in Gourmet extension and Assembly Hall ,Block -2 from 9 am to 3pm. The programme was divided into two slots, exhibition and lecture session. The programme began with an   inauguration of the exhibition in gourmet basement at 9.30 by Mahesh Jambulingam , President , Karnataka Numismatic Society and Dr.John Joseph Kennedy, Dean, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University. Faculty members along with prominent members   from Numismatics Society witnessed the session.     The next slot of the programme was held in Assembly Hall, block 2, from 9.45 am to 11 am.
