Christ University and Belarusian State Academy of Music Sign Landmark MOU

Christ University in Bangalore, India, and the Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk, Belarus, have recently forged a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster bilateral cooperation in the field of musical arts. This partnership, marked by mutual respect and a shared commitment to enhancing the quality and efficiency of education, promises to be mutually beneficial.

Represented by Dr Anil Joseph Pinto, Registrar of Christ University, and Elena Kurakina, Rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, the agreement underscores the institutions' common scholarly aspirations and desire for international collaboration. The MOU outlines various avenues of cooperation, including joint creative projects, exchange programmes for students and staff, collaborative research, and shared cultural activities.

The MoU also address logistical aspects, ensuring smooth implementation of the collaborative initiatives. 

Both institutions are optimistic about the potential for enriched educational experiences and cultural exchange, marking a significant step towards global academic integration in the field of music.

Report on Annual Sports Day 2013 School of Education organized a one day Sports day for its students of B.Ed and MA Education on the 16 th of February 2013. Its objective was to develop in the students a sporting spirit, a venue to display their physical prowess and gain hands on experience of organizing a sports day at a school in future.   The day was scheduled to begin at 7:30am at the Christ University campus, where the students assembled near the auditorium block. Two buses were utilized to transport the students to the Christ University Kengeri campus which was the venue of the Sports Day. All required arrangements were made there. REPORT ON DISPLAY OF TEACHING AIDS - SCHOOL OF EDUCATION

The event that has given the opportunity to the teacher trainees to display and demonstrate their teaching aids and teaching models was conducted on 10 th January,   2014.   The event was inaugurated by Prof. Mallika Krishnaswami, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University. The Dean addressed the student teachers with an inspiring talk. A Report on One Day Exhibition, Workshop and Lecture on Numismatics

Department of History and   Kannada,Christ University in collaboration with Karnataka Numismatics Society , Bangalore organized a one day   exhibition, workshop and lecture on numismatics” on 12 July,2014 in Gourmet extension and Assembly Hall ,Block -2 from 9 am to 3pm. The programme was divided into two slots, exhibition and lecture session. The programme began with an   inauguration of the exhibition in gourmet basement at 9.30 by Mahesh Jambulingam , President , Karnataka Numismatic Society and Dr.John Joseph Kennedy, Dean, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University. Faculty members along with prominent members   from Numismatics Society witnessed the session.     The next slot of the programme was held in Assembly Hall, block 2, from 9.45 am to 11 am.
