CHRIST University and Halla University Forge International Partnership

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore and Halla University in South Korea have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster international collaboration and student exchange. This partnership marks a significant step in enhancing the two institutions' global competencies and academic ties.

The MoU outlines a comprehensive student exchange and internship programme across various disciplines both universities offer. Students from both institutions will have the opportunity to gain international experience, enhancing their academic and professional development. The collaboration also aims to establish a dual degree programme, subject to further discussions and approval.

Research collaboration is a key component of this MoU, with both universities committed to joint research projects and publications. The agreement also includes plans to organise conferences and seminars to showcase the work of students and faculty from both institutions.

Confidentiality and data protection are central to the agreement, ensuring that all shared information is securely handled and used solely for the purposes of the collaboration. Both parties are dedicated to adhering to their respective data protection laws and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.

This MoU represents a significant commitment to fostering international educational ties and providing students with valuable global experiences. Report on Annual Sports Day 2013 School of Education organized a one day Sports day for its students of B.Ed and MA Education on the 16 th of February 2013. Its objective was to develop in the students a sporting spirit, a venue to display their physical prowess and gain hands on experience of organizing a sports day at a school in future.   The day was scheduled to begin at 7:30am at the Christ University campus, where the students assembled near the auditorium block. Two buses were utilized to transport the students to the Christ University Kengeri campus which was the venue of the Sports Day. All required arrangements were made there. On reaching the campus at 9:00 am, there was short break for tea. Ample seating arrangement and a tent was erected on the vast sporting grounds of the campus. The event that has given the opportunity to the teacher trainees to display and demonstrate their teaching aids and teaching models was conducted on 10 th January,   2014.   The event was inaugurated by Prof. Mallika Krishnaswami, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University. The Dean addressed the student teachers with an inspiring talk. A Report on One Day Exhibition, Workshop and Lecture on Numismatics

Department of History and   Kannada,Christ University in collaboration with Karnataka Numismatics Society , Bangalore organized a one day   exhibition, workshop and lecture on numismatics” on 12 July,2014 in Gourmet extension and Assembly Hall ,Block -2 from 9 am to 3pm. The programme was divided into two slots, exhibition and lecture session. The programme began with an   inauguration of the exhibition in gourmet basement at 9.30 by Mahesh Jambulingam , President , Karnataka Numismatic Society and Dr.John Joseph Kennedy, Dean, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University.
