Strengthening Global Academic Collaboration: A New MoU between CHRIST (Deemed to be University) and De La Salle University-Dasmariñas

In a significant stride towards fostering global academic cooperation, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, and De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), Philippines, have formalised their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration, brimming with potential, aims to enhance academic and research interactions, fostering mutual understanding and multicultural appreciation between the two esteemed institutions, thereby opening up new opportunities for faculties and students.


The MoU outlines a comprehensive framework for cooperation in various domains. Both universities are committed to promoting the exchange of students, faculty, and administrative staff, broadening educational horizons and cultural experiences. This partnership will provide students with unique learning opportunities, faculty with avenues for collaborative research, and administrative staff with the chance to gain international experience. It also aims to facilitate access to vital data sources and published materials, significantly benefiting ongoing and future research endeavours.

Report on Annual Sports Day 2013 School of Education organized a one day Sports day for its students of B.Ed and MA Education on the 16 th of February 2013. Its objective was to develop in the students a sporting spirit, a venue to display their physical prowess and gain hands on experience of organizing a sports day at a school in future.   The day was scheduled to begin at 7:30am at the Christ University campus, where the students assembled near the auditorium block. The event that has given the opportunity to the teacher trainees to display and demonstrate their teaching aids and teaching models was conducted on 10 th January,   2014.   The event was inaugurated by Prof. Mallika Krishnaswami, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University. A Report on One Day Exhibition, Workshop and Lecture on Numismatics

Department of History and   Kannada,Christ University in collaboration with Karnataka Numismatics Society , Bangalore organized a one day   exhibition, workshop and lecture on numismatics” on 12 July,2014 in Gourmet extension and Assembly Hall ,Block -2 from 9 am to 3pm. The programme was divided into two slots, exhibition and lecture session. The programme began with an   inauguration of the exhibition in gourmet basement at 9.30 by Mahesh Jambulingam , President , Karnataka Numismatic Society and Dr.John Joseph Kennedy, Dean, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Christ University. Faculty members along with prominent members   from Numismatics Society witnessed the session.     The next slot of the programme was held in Assembly Hall, block 2, from 9.45 am to 11 am.
