A Report - Celebration of Teachers Day 2014, Kengeri Campus

"Better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher.” – Japanese Proverb

The time has come yet again to appreciate our beloved teachers. September 5th marked the celebration of the momentous Teacher’s Day, where students engaged in unbridled capacity to shower their love, adoration and most importantly, respect for their teachers. With an array of scintillating performances from our students in honor of the teachers to the surprising entertainers by our very own faculties, Teacher’s Day fulfilled all expectations.

The day started off with a rejuvenating band performance by the students in honor of the teachers. But what followed was truly astounding. The four back-to-back performances took the enthusiasm to a whole new level and had the audience glued to their seats. Whether it was the mesmerizing performance by Mr. Vinai George or the enthralling piece by Mr. Vinai Jha Pillai, or a rendition of his own composition by Mr. Sujai Kotian the audience surely was enlightened and reacting with resounding claps of joy. The entertainment was further geared up when Dr. Gurumoorthy Hebbar returned on to the stage once again for his beautiful performance.

No celebration is complete without dance involved. A special dance performance by the mechanical and civil departments was definitely an attraction and was all in mood as they rocked the floor with their fusion performance.

Ultimately, it was time to bow down and wrap up. With all these performances that kept the audience ecstatic to the very last minute, it was indeed a remembrance and a token of appreciation for the teachers. With that said, teachers, a very Happy Teacher’s Day!
